Our College Scholarship Program is one of the most exciting chapters in the story of For the Love of Orphans. Today, we are honored to sponsor 12 children as they pursue higher education, with 4 studying nursing, 3 training to become clinical officers, 4 preparing to be teachers, and 1 learning a skilled trade.
Each of these students has grown up in our orphan care center, many for 7 to 10 years, and we have walked with them through childhood into this incredible new season of possibility. Their perseverance and dedication have brought them to this moment, and now higher education is opening doors that once seemed impossible.
These scholarships do more than change the future of one child. They have the power to lift entire families and communities out of poverty. By becoming nurses, teachers, clinical officers, and skilled workers, these students will not only provide for themselves but also pour back into the very communities that raised them.
This is the heart of our mission: to see children flourish, break the cycle of poverty, and step boldly into the futures God has prepared for them.
